Movie prices and uncomfortable theaters are the main reasons I wait and buy the DVD's - it's a lot cheaper and way more comfy. I always loved Sherlock and have read all the books. From the trailers, I don't think they followed the original story but it looks like a fun time anyway.

To see a movie is absolutely a total rip off. I can't believe us normal low paid people have to pay a small fortune to watch extremely overpaid actors. So unfair.

We don't get to the movies too often. I do recommend The Blue Room at Rosalie though, if you're in Brisbane. It's similar to Gold Class but way cheaper. $10 on a Tuesday.

We have just been up to Mackay for xmas and an adult movie ticket there to see Avatar 3D was $18.50, student $15.50 and child $14.50. I nearly fell off my perch! I went in early to buy the tickets. Thankfully I had decided that movie wasn't my cup of tea. Don't think I could have parted with another $18.50.

The Superteen and his dad saw this yesterday after they realised that it would not be a good idea to be around me (Lol!) due to the fact that I wasn't happy with either of them. They both liked it. I took Miss Ten to see Chipmunks! Don't know how it is fair that I have to see the kids movie!

IKWYM about movie prices. For our family of 4 to see Avatar including 3D glasses and 2 x popcorn and drink (we shared) it was $100. Luckily we had a gift voucher so we only paid half of that but it is such a rip off! And I actually booked 13 tickets to see Twilight for a work do and they charged me $4 for each ticket for a booking fee. Rip off!
