I fixed the images problem by copying them into my own Photobucket account and linking them back in the code. So that's good. But I still want to change things. I would really love to change over completely to a self-hosted site like WordPress but I honestly don't have the sort of time to maintain it and deal with problems. It's a lame excuse but it's why I'll still stay with Blogger on my own domain - at least for now.

I have a fantastic picture I'd love to use as a new header, but increase the width of the main writing area and keep my one sidebar (I don't need two). So I'm looking at free converted WordPress themes for Blogger and seeing what looks like something I can tweek just a wee bit to get what I want.

One quick look at your blog code here (View source in your browser tool bar) shows that you have all your CSS styling in the HTML doc, which is what's keeping your blog generally altogether. It's all the gibberish starting with /* ---( page defaults )--- */ .
But this background image http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/6092/2649/1600/592207/deer-1.jpg is located on the Blogger server, as you can see in the url string.

So in other words, you need your own CSS style sheet loaded up on your own server. You can probably go on using this HTML document structure, but images on another server go bye-bye. You can plant that URL in your browser window and see your lovely lady moose jumping over that couch as always. You can even right-click and save it methinks.

Hrrmm, and I've been looking for a good excuse to learn me some WordPress. Already understand the whole CSS/HTML and some script stuff it runs with. Think about it Moosey, and let me know. Not sure who you are hosting with but if they have good customer service they can probably help you get Wordpress on your server.
