Mummfries is right - no TV in the AM. Sparky always did zone out a lot in the morning - can't say I blame him and he probably inherited that gene from me. Sorry!
I'm sure this will be even more heavenly for you when Her Majesty goes back. You probably don't know what you'll do with yourself.

Well, Mooselet, for starters... NO TV in the mornings! Not ever! Kids make their own lunches too, either the night before or in the morning. Yep, I'm not as good to my kids as my Mum was to me, but they don't know that. I wasn't allowed tv but I never had to make my lunch.
Good first day at new schools for my three today, years 4, 6 and 8. Master 12 started year 8 with Miss WTF's Master 12. I didn't go there, Mr Mumfies did that run, I took other two to their new (well not totally new as they went there a few years ago until we had a few years up on our mountain)school. All ok, so far, though all a little anxious.
Picked up Master 12 after first collecting younger two from their school, in the POURING rain. Saw Miss WTF Master 12 but didn't collect him as he seemed to be enjoying walking with friends.
Lots of talking all afternoon and not too much homework for the grade 8 boy, none for the other two. Shame the grade 8 boys aren't in the same class, but yuh get that I guess.
I actually was kinda lonely today. I know, slap me! I did watch a dvd whilst folding washing so felt kinda good!
I do like to watch the littlies on the news every year on the first day of school. So cute!

Well, Master 12 was up at 7:20 and ready at 7:40. Had his breakfast and even went in and cleaned his teeth, ears AND face of his own accord. I told him I'd make his lunch and he got dressed and was ready to go at 8am. I picked his friend up at 8:15 and we were up there in a sea of green and white newbies by 8:30. All good! He even decided that he'd walk home this afternoon (and it's raining). I gave him 40c in case he needs to ring me to come pick him up and it occurred to me as I drove home, he's never had to use a pay phone before so that'll be interesting if he actually does have to use it LOL.

How's the serenity!? I'm loving it!
