We celebrated on Tuesday because we had some family visiting and they were unexpectedly leaving the next day. My SIL and I made a 15 lb turkey, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, rolls and a cranberry (craisins) stuffing-my new favorite. Yummm!! SIL made dessert - apple cobbler -- another big yumm and it was a-la-mode!! And we are still yet to taste a damn pumpkin pie!!!<br /><br />I tell ya, if you cook it, I&#39;ll be there! If you ask me, pumpkin is a vegetable best roasted but all my North American friends (ok, both of you lol) tell me it&#39;s a dessert. I am yet to be persuaded although Darkside Deb does make a damn fine pumpkin cranberry loaf :- )<br /><br />So, I owe you dinner (and dessert or a movie) so how about you pull your finger out and give me a date in early December and we&#39;ll get that sorted and catch up.
