I've been thinking about seeing it too. One of my girls loves show tunes, so I'm making a list of all the great old movies she needs to see.
I am in love with old movie musicals. Love An American in Paris, Singing in the Rain, Oklahoma, etc. I think I have most of them on video tape and I won't get rid of them for anything.
~~LOL~~....I will always love the old movie musicals as well and The Sound of Music has always been my favorite!
