Merry Sunshine!
What a shame. New Mexico averages 350+ days of sunshine a year.
Well we are the Sunshine State, except for this week when we have been the Build Your Own Ark State. I shouldn't make too much light of it, because there is some serious flooding out in western Queensland so we don't have it so bad. But I miss the sun!!!
That actually kind of proves my point about the rain. At least for me personally I prefer the sun ANY day over the rain. In fact (blasphemy about to happen here) I kind of want a drought this coming summer! (I live in southern Ontario) and for the last 2 or even 3 summers depends who's asking it has been WAY too rainy!
Even though Queensland suffers droughts and you sometimes even ask for rain, it's still amazing that after a week, even YOU are tired of it! (Don't worry, I'm not saying that's a bad thing and you should feel 'guilty' for wanting the sun again even though you have to worry about drought).
I'm just saying that I think the sun is much easier to deal with than straight rain for a week. Rain for more than a day I say is too much, lol.
Kinda sounds like I need to live in Australia (Queensland) myself. lol. I'll start practicing 4min. showers! ☺
Hahahahahaha!!!! Sorry to say that it didn't stay long....back to rain today!
I'm so over the rain too. It's just getting ridiculous.
Well I love it. It means it's cool and therefore, I'm not sweaty :-)
