Words of Unwisdom
If you've watched the news in the past 12 hours you'll know that the massive earthquake in Chile has generated a Pacific-wide tsunami. It is expected to reach Southeast Queensland in about an hour. I was telling Sparky about it when he woke up, joking that we need to stay away from the coast (we live no where NEAR the coast, and it's been raining for 2 days so there are no plans to go there).
Sparky: "So will we get any rain from it?"
Me: "What?"
Sparky: "Is the tsunami going to make it rain?!"
To his credit, he came back 10 minutes later and, in a roundabout way, admitted it was a stupid question.

4 Witty Remarks:
Lol! I think that we have enough rain at the moment...my tank is overflowing!
And yes, we are quite a distance from the beach...thankfully!
We actually saw both rain and snow today. No wher close to home though. We left here (50+ degrees) and drove up into the mountains - halfway up we got rain (41) and before we got to Mountainair snow and 33.
You gotta love desert country.
How is it you get 50°F (remind me what that is in °C?) in your summer in Queensland. (I know that 50°F is quite cool though).
Kinda making me scared to move there now, lol.
O, oops, ignore my last comment, I thought that was talking about Queensland...hehe. I was really thinking the world was screwed up...but at least for now it remains at least somewhat normal. lol.
