A Funny
I find I have a case of bloggers block, so please enjoy this clip from my new favourite comedian, Dara O'Briain:
I have issues with people who take the Bible literally, who want to teach creationism in science classrooms, so folks like Dara - who can make us laugh over it - are awesome.
Have you left a comment on my 4th Blogiversary post? If you do you'll go into the draw for a prize yet to be determined, but I swear it'll be good. Leave a comment there by 9pm Friday Brisbane time to be eligible.

3 Witty Remarks:
Once I pick up the accent, I find him hilarious. Never seen him on anything over here, but I'll keep my eyes open.
Good post!
And I don't mind them teaching creationism in science class... as long as they also hold it up against scientific theory and can logically (oxymoronic, I know, but work with it) defend their points.
"What makes more sense? God placed fossils in the ground to trick us or the fossils belonged to creatures that radio carbon dating has confirmed existed millions of years ago?" You can even go theological on their ass and ask which is more awesome: God created everything in one fell swoop and man and Dino existed together or, that same God created creatures that through, shall we say "divine free will" have the ability to adapt and evolve to their surroundings and environments.
Anonymous - Creationism, or Intelligent Design or whatever it's called this month, needs to be in a philosophy or theology class, NOT a science classroom. You cannot logically validate a "theory" that simply claims God did it via the scientific method. Despite my lifelong agnosticism I have no problems with people who believe in {insert your deity here}, but no one will convince me that it should be taught alongside evolution in a science class.
