Guess what I saw in the shops today?
OK, so this is my tree from a few years ago, but I did see many Christmas displays and trees set up in Big W (large department store, for you non-Aussies). By my calendar, it's still September! WTH?! Am I the only one who sees the problem with this?

yep - saw some Christmas foods and stuff in the shops earlier this week and made a point of ignoring it utterly!!
The other day I when I saw Christmas stuff, here in Adelaide, I thought maybe they start early so that we get into the spirit before the weather starts warming up. Especially for us Northern Hemisphere transplants who have a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit when it feels like summer.
I haven't seen anything yet, but I'm sure I will soon.
It's out here in the States as well. Not in force yet, but here and there. What is out all over is the Halloween stuff. The Shepster almost bought a Count Dracula cloak today.
I know. We were in Meyer this weekend and I nearly shat myself when I saw they had their Xmas stuff out in full force. So depressing.
