Photo Friday
It's been a long time, but yesterday I finally managed to damage one of my digits again:
Slammed it in the car door. Don't ask. I really thought I broke it as the pain was excruciating, even hours later. As it turns out I didn't, but they gave me some good drugs (morphine) at the hospital last night so I was much more comfortable. Now, not so much. Time to go to the chemist and get me some codeine!

8 Witty Remarks:
Wow, it looks much better (or worse) in that pic than the one you sent through to my phone.
Nice one! Bet that smarts like hell. No nose picking for a while I spose lol.
Hope it feels better soon Mooselet :- )
Nasty! I hope the pain goes away quickly!
This morning I heard what I thought was a howling cat, but when I poked my head out the front door I realized it was a child (not mine). I think the same thing might have happened to him.
I suggest mixing some chocolate in with the drugs. You know, to make them taste better.
I'm certain your loyal fans appreciate that it was your index finger, not a more popular digit, which I have it on good authority you have waved in anger and/or frustration on occasion.
I'd offer to kiss your boo-boo, but I just ate an Oreo, and I fear I might leave your finger with a darker smudge. I hope you didn't kick the door, else you'd probably be hobbling about with a sore toe, too.
March must be Hurt Your Finger Month. I managed to jam my ring finger last weekend so it lokked like a sausage. Then, I managed to snap off my thumb nail Wednesday night. I hate it when I do that.
Hope it feels better soon.
It's not Friday the 13th is it? No, that was last week! Here I am having a conversation with myself, sorry! I think I'm going dotty!
As for the finger, are you sure it's not an excuse not to finish the 3000 character application statement? I don't think so! Here I go again talking to myself!
Before I go, did you hear about the English nurse who had to undergo an English exam in order to get into nursing here in Australia?
Take Care,
Peter
Ooohh, ouch. Poor you. I remember slamming my Princess's finger in the car door when she was 2ish. No wonder she cried so much.
Hope you're on the mend.
That hurts to just look at. Get better soon.
