It's nearly that time of year again:
click to enlarge - it's very pretty. From early 2007 season.Tomorrow I take Sparky and Her Majesty to sign-on for footy. This will be Sparky's 6th year, Her Majesty's 1st. Both are very excited the season is starting again. Yeah, me too!

You're right my dear friend, I am groaning, especially since I'll be there all weekend helping. Oh joy and more beeping joy!
Your dear darling can do a ref course pretty soon, I'm sure. At least he'll still be involved. I'm also pretty sure the young refs only do the little one's games. May do Her Majesty's and show no bias whatsoever!
That field looks nothing like that now. It's in the middle of a huge makeover that is way behind due to the crazy weather we've had over the last few months. They will all be on one field. Should be cosy.
Sigh, looking forlorn.... why do my kids have to play so much damn sport? Damn their father, why can't they be fat couch potatoes like me?!
My little Foo just signed up for another lot of tennis today, that makes twice per week then football, and he's only one of my three. Far out! Must be nearly ouzo time..... Oh wait, I can't afford it!
You are all very lucky that OZ offers so many sports for kids - we used to over here but not as much anymore.
And Miss WTF you will have to attend some of those games - we want pictures. BTW, you also owe us a picture of the entire Ives clan unless you have already taken them.
