Happy Birthday

Today is Sparky's birthday. He's another year older - now 14 - but sadly not another year wiser. Don't ask. Typical teenage boy stuff than makes me want to bang my head against my desk.

Tomorrow is The Hermit's birthday. I am not allowed to tell you his age on penalty of death. When Her Majesty asked him how old he was he shaved a decade off his age. Really, made me out to be a cradle snatcher. He used to do this to Sparky when Sparky was Her Majesty's age, and Sparky fell for it hook, line and sinker. Until he was about 10, when he clued in.

Of course Sparky was also afraid of ET... no one ever claimed Sparky was very bright.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to Sparky and The Hermit:

If it looks familiar to long-time readers, it's because I used it 2 years ago. Sue me... it's hot and humid and I'm so over summer and having zero energy. Besides, it's a frickin' cute picture.

Happy birthday to them both. And don't worry. My daughter believed that I was 23 for a whole lotta years. It's only in the past couple that she actually worked it out! :(

Yep, I recognised that photo!
Happy birthday to you two :)

I've been thinking of telling people I'm 10 years older than I am so they think I look good for my age!

Ooooh, ooooh, oooh!!!!! I know how old the Hermit his. Of course, if you tell my age I'll have to....yep, same thing - have the Gallucci brothers break something.

Anyhoo, Happy Birthday Sparky and Hermit. I have some Girl Scout cookies here with your name on them. :-)

"HAPPY BITHDAY TO TWO"
I do remember the picture and the day - watching the Hermit crawl around the tubes, going down the slide and jumping ito the bin full of plastic balls. I did wonder which of them had more fun.
But tell the Hermit that he is going to have to fess up one of these years. I do know that he must be using some of that Roman Formula to add some grey to his hair. It sure used to be quite a bit darker.
