... Again
And I started the month so well. Time got away from me... again. Too busy to post... again. Too busy to read other blogs... again.
There are a couple of reasons for this. Clive is the biggest one. At 20 months, he simply takes up more time and energy than he did at 6 or 12 months. Right now he's screeching because I committed the crime of putting him down. He's happy to play with things so long as he is either perched on a hip or has me sitting right next to him. He started at day care one day a week in preparation for the 5 day a week for a month trial that is to come when I start my clinicals next week, and he's not happy about it. He has a really good room leader who is very patient with him, and if he ever gets too upset (hasn't yet) than Her Majesty is right down the hall.
The other kids keep me busy as well with all their goings on. Sports, jobs, school... I spend a lot of time in the car and I thank chocolate every day that I discovered podcasts. Her Majesty is only at preschool two days a week, so she needs attention as well. I know I only work 3 nights a week, but that's also time I can't blog.
And in case you hadn't noticed, I'm not the most organized person in the world. No really - shocking, I know. I'm not the type of woman who will spend an entire afternoon baking and freezing meals for the week. I don't have a schedule of when to wash floors, do laundry, clean the fridge. I don't get up early to make sure I'm dressed and ready to go and hour before everyone else is up. I should, but I don't.
So I apologize... again. I know that of all the people who are still left to read this, you guys (my New England upbringing slipping in) totally understand. I've told Momma Mooselet that if I don't post for ages not too worry - it just means I'm insanely busy and not that something is horribly wrong. I'd probably manage to get that up. I hope to spend some time day getting the Skinfest and Match Report Monday up - backdated so this remains on top. I have a list of things I want to blog about and I'll get to it eventually. So thanks... again... for being patient with me and my infrequent postings... again.

Excuses excuses lol
See you tonight :-)
Now really... You expect us to believe that a Motrher of four doesn't have much free time... cowswallop!
I have always wanted to use that word in a sentence. Thanks Mooselet.
Watched Liesl win her gold medal last night - great swim. Can't wait to watch Her Majesty in the 2020 Olympics.
And here I thought people that did that only lived in my TV.
Getting up before the kids do is just masochistic in my world. And I feel you on the baby wanting to be hipped around... Clutch follows me with this plainive whine all the while I'm telling him to toddle considering he's a toddler now. He doesn't get it I guess.
Hope things slow down a bit for you.
Cowswallop, Cowswallap, Cowswallup. I couldn't find any of those in Wikipedia. I think MM is studying jibberish or becoming senile. Her other latest favorite word seems to be "copious". Ah, well. I still love her. She's fun to have around.
Mooselet, stay with the studies. There'll be plenty of time for blogging after you're done with school. We can wait.
No worries. You've clearly got a full plate.
Codswollup is one of my favourite words.
I just watched Wife Swap and one of the women must have been taught the 1950s version of homemaker. She even believed that you had to get yourself all prettied up for husband's arrival home, taking his coat and slippers, etc. Yuh! Not that's complete and utter codswollup!
I also saw Australia flog South Africa in the hockey this morning. Yep, it's a public holiday here and I'm loving it!
BTW - I'm home aaaallll alone :)
Mr Mumfies is out with the boys at his parents and Miss 11 is at my parents. Ya gotta get rid of the fam, Moose! Send Hermie out with the kids and just plonk on the lounge and flick on the tellie.
I thought blogging was supposed to be about YOU, not other people. Sheesh, cut yourself some slack already! *hugs*
I still love you. Even if I do need a Skinfest fix.
I'm the same way, I hardly ever comment on blogs anymore---just don't have the time. But I'm trying. :)
Hi all,
Just letting you know that Mooselet is still alive and kicking, she's just flat out with prac at the moment so hasn't had a moment to even scratch herself.
I talked to her today and all is good. She's on day shifts at the minute and next week goes to night shift.
More importantly, she is 8 points ahead of me in the tipping and has foolishly allowed me to put her tips in for her this week... WOOOHOO!
Am sure she'll be back online soon :- )
Thanks for the update Miss WTF. I miss the blogs but understand totally. If you speak to her give her my love.
Will do Momma Mooselet.
FYI... am sure a post will be put up re the boy's efforts in their first ever semi-finals very shortly AND.... I am officially done in the tipping comp. So... I guess it's up to Mooselet as to what I cook her (again) for losing the bet. DAMMIT!!!!!!!! As if it's not bad enough that my team fell in a screaming heap, now I have to cook a house full of yanks dinner. Life is so unfair! :-(
Hey - cook something for me too, Miss WTF!!!!! Ya gotta change teams!
Momma, Moosie is tired but you know, she'll cope, Mums always do.
Also... Momma.. you have to sort that Sparky out... I was showing him my Pom Pom Cheergirl movements when he was at my house on Saturday...he really wasn't overly complimentary, neither was my son. I just don't know, the youth of today...
