Taronga Park Zoo, Sydney and he was behind 3 inches of perspex! I was pretty happy to get that shot considering I had to use a flash because the viewing area is enclosed. No flash flare..I'm a happy camper.
Incidentally, to all of you who have told me to pull my finger out and start selling my photos, I made my first sale of cards and postcards to a florist shop yesterday. Here's hoping it's the start of a beautiful friendship involving lots and LOTS of money :-)
I have this great pic of ducks on an old water tank in a puddle which I think would sell somewhere somehow. When you've got it sorted you could sort if for me. I need some money!
Brissiemum - given my obsession with rugby league it's not surprising you thought that. Next time I'm at Suncorp Stadium I'll get a photo of 'that' King. Thanks for coming by!
8 Witty Remarks:
I hope that lion (or Miss WTF) was in some kind of enclosure. I wouldn't want to have a run-in with that beast. Great pic though.

Double good on ya, Miss WTF. And a great shot of His Majesty.
Hmmmmm....and here I was thinking that 'the King' had something to do with football! ;)
Just discovered your blog. Will visit again.
Speaking as one photographer to another...."Damn, that's good!!"
I don't remember seeing him when I visited Taronga in 2006.
Good on you Miss WTF!!! 'Bout time!
