Photo Friday
Thanks to everyone for their comments on my last post about Clive's lack of proper speech. You've all given me hope that my suspicions are correct - he's got everyone to talk and interpret for him - and those pushing me to get him evaluated just need to give him, and me, a break. I will likely take him to the child health nurses next month - he needs his immunization anyway - and see what they say but I won't be pushing for speech therapy or anything like that. Thanks everyone!!!

I never realised the colours that a pelican had. I just of thought of them as big boring birds with a floppy mouth. Seriously, she needs to start a website to sell her fantastic pics. Just think of all the Tigers games she could go to!

Miss WTF is a fantastic photographer and she should look at commercial opportunities. Tourists would pay a bundle for photos of OZ like she has done.
As for the pelican, Shep took a shot of one of these as well. Here in the US the Brown Pelican is the most common, and those guys were stunning to us. Actually, most of your wildlife is stunning,as is the landscape, but not everyone can get good photos like Miss WTF and the Shepster.

I fell in love with pelicans when the movie "Storm Boy" came out many many many years ago. We recently got it out for the kids. They enjoyed it too. If you can find it, get it out, it's lovely.
The pelican is both scary and beautiful.
That pelican looks like he has kind of a bad attitude. Come on, buddy, are you a pelican or a pelican't?!
